Adedeji Adeleke was born on the 6th of March 1957 in Enugu and he is the son of Mr. Raji and Mrs. Esther Adeleke. In Enugu where he was born, he also lived there with his maternal grandmother until his family said it was time for him to move back to Lagos to pursue his primary and secondary school education.
In Lagos, Adedeji Adeleke attended Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary School from 1965 to 1970, then he moved on to the Seventh Days Adventist Grammar School and attained his West African Examination Certificate in 1965. With Chief Adedeji Adeleke’s strong love and passion for education, he decided to further his education down to the tertiary level where he gained admission into the Western Kentucky University USA in 1976 and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. He went on to enroll for an MBA (Master of Business Administration) in 1979, then completed it in 1981.
Chief Adedeji Adeleke also has a Ph.D. degree from the Pacific Columbia University, California from the academic field of International Business. In addition to his already acquired degrees and certificates, Chief Adedeji Adeleke also has a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in Arizona which he acquired in 2010.
Early Music Career
Mr. Adedeji Adeleke started his Investment Company, Pacific Holdings in 1983 which he created through the Pacific Drilling Company that was responsible for infrastructural survey, drilling the ground, and installing bole holes. The company became incorporated from a Limited Liability Company on the 28th December 1990.
Later on, the company began to spread its wings by diversifying into Energy and Power Generation and Freight Services. In 1996, Adedeji Adeleke founded Springtime Development Foundation (SDF), the foundation was founded for the main purpose of helping students in Nigeria by providing them with the best quality education.

The university was established in 2011 and it has a total of five faculties, namely: Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Basic Medical Science, Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Law. The university has Chief Adedeji Adeleke as the pro-chancellor, Dr. Joseph Ola as the Chancellor, and Samuel Ekundayo Alao as the Vice-chancellor.
