Her parents nicknamed her “Kiki” when she was little. Lakiha has an older brother named Azim (or Azheem) Spicer. Her father, Shamsud-Din Ali was the Imam of West Philadelphia mosque and the leader of a gang popular known as the Philadelphia Black Mafia (PBM).
In 2005, her father was convicted of fraud and racketeering charges in the City Hall corruption scandal. Lakiha’s mother was also found guilty of collaborating with Shamsud-Din Ali in the scam and sentenced to 24 months in jail.
