Born May 4, 1987, Boma’s full name is Boma Martins Akpore and he grew up in Yaba, Lagos State, and was raised by his single mother. A native of Delta State, Boma described his childhood as “extremely tough”, stating that he had to pay his way through school. And dropping out in his final year was one of the hardest decisions he has made in his life. Boma says that his life’s highest point was when he saved enough money to pay for his film school. He affirms that the achievement was later eclipsed by his graduation from the film school.
