When it comes to Glo auto-renewal, not many people know how to cancel Glo auto-renewal on the Glo data plan. Glo is one of the leading network providers with millions of active subscribers. Some of their subscribers have complained bitterly about how their data plan automatically renews. This is why we have come up with this article to teach Glo subscribers how to further prevent this from happening. So if you have a family member or friend that’s a Glo subscriber, share this post with them.

It is very important to cancel your auto-renewal especially if you have no intention of subscribing to that data plan at the end of its validity. If you don’t cancel, and your airtime balance is equivalent to or above the required amount for that data plan, it will automatically subscribe to it. The auto-renewal feature is positive if the subscriber intends on subscribing to that data plan at the end of its validity. It saves the subscriber the stress or time of having to type the USSD code all over again.

How to Cancel Glo Auto-renewal on Glo Data Plan

Below, we’ll be showing you the main reason why you came to this post, which is to learn how you can stop or cancel your Glo SIM from auto-renewing to your existing data plan. The process is quite simple and not complicated.

All you need to do is send “Cancel” as an SMS to 127. Once the message delivers, you should receive a text message that the cancellation is successful. Note that you need to send the text message before the expiration of the current Glo data plan i.e. before the validity date. The method only works when you have an active Glo data plan at the time you sent the text. If you have any question relating to the Glo data plan auto-renewal, drop them in the comment section down below.
