The Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in a press briefing, has issued that there will no longer be any curfew in the state.
The curfew, which was previously planned by the government to allow for the fumigation exercise of public space like the markets and major highways.
While based on the advice by health experts, the Governor disclosed the disinfectant is non toxic, and also that the exercise has started.


Governor Sanwo-olu said:
“I am pleased to note that we have taken possession of over 200 disinfecting machines, and starting today, we will be disinfecting all major highways, bus stops, markets, parks and other public areas.”
The Governor also disclosed during a live press conference that if there is a need for curfew, the Lagos State Government will not hesitate to impose it.
He made it clear that as it stands, everything remains the way they are and there will not be the need for a curfew currently.
