Festus Keyamo (SAN), the Minister of State for Labour and Spokesperson of the APC Presidential Campaign committee in Nigeria, has accused Peter Obi, the Labour Party Presidential candidate, of staging fake emotions and rigging elections in Lagos state and the South East.
During a press conference organized by the Labour Party to announce court proceedings against Bola Tinubu’s presidential election win on March 2, Peter Obi shed tears while recounting the story of a University graduate who couldn’t afford to buy an oven for her baking business.
In response, Keyamo alleged that Peter Obi’s tears were insincere and that he had orchestrated the rigging of elections in Lagos state and the South East. Keyamo also stated that the APC had formed a legal team, which he was a part of, and discovered that a particular handwriting had filled the form EC8 for an entire ward in the southeast, which was then replicated throughout the region. Additionally, he mentioned that the APC would file a counter appeal to nullify all the votes from the southeast.
