1)Short Service Combatant Commission Course (SSC 47/2023)
Requirements: You must have at least a first degree with not less than Second Class Lower Division or HND of not less than Lower Credit in the arts, sciences, or humanities from an accredited institution of learning. Courses of study must also be accredited at the time of the study.
Other: Whether you are male or female, you must be between the ages of 23 and 27 by January 2023.
2)Ordnance Corps Officer (DSSC 26/2021)

General Requirements for the Nigeria Army Recruitment
The applications are invited from suitable Nigerians for commission into the Nigerian Army (NA) as Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) officers. Though, the DSSC is open to both serving military personnel and civilians, only serving military personnel who were sponsored to civil institutions by any of the Services of the Nigerian Armed Forces shall be qualified.
Every applicant must pass the following conditions:
- You must be a Nigerian citizen and also a resident of Nigeria.
- You must be medically, physically, and mentally fit according to NA standards.
- Applicants must attach a letter of Attestation from their previous institutions.
- Whether female or male, you must be between the ages of 20 and 30 years, while medical consultants must not be more than 40 years of age by January 2023.
- You must at least have a height of 1.68 m (for males) and 1.65 m (for females).
- You must have a valid State of Origin Certificate.
- You must be recommended and attested for by at least 2 recognizable referees, either a Local Government Chairman/Secretary or an officer of the Armed Forces not below the rank of a Lieutenant Colonel and equivalent or an Assistant Commissioner of Police and above who must hail from the applicant’s state of origin. Passport photographs of referees must be affixed to the letter of attestation.
- Must have a valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital or Local Government Council or a valid age declaration.
- Must not have been convicted by any court of law. All Military personnel applying must be free from any disciplinary case and endorsed by the applicant’s Commanding Officer/Commander.
- Must have at least a Second Class Lower Division or HND of not less than Lower Credit from any accredited institution of learning.
- Must have an NYSC discharge certificate or a valid exemption as appropriate.
- You must not belong to any cult/society/fraternity.
- All graduates with professional qualifications must be duly registered by relevant regulating bodies recognized by Nigerian Laws at the commencement of cadet training.
- Only post-secondary academic credentials obtained from 2012 to date will be considered.
- You must present valid contact addresses and telephone numbers of parents/guardians and the Next of Kin.
- You must not have any inscriptions or tattoos on your body.
- You must tender all original copies of educational certificates (primary to post-secondary).
- All Service personnel must present valid military identity cards and letters of recommendation from their Commanding Officers/Commanders.
