Kanayo O Kanayo, a veteran actor in the Nigerian film industry (Nollywood), has taken to social media to warn Nigerians of a potential plot to arrest Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP).
Kanayo alleged that there are people who are conspiring against Obi and that he feels something fishy is about to happen. In an Instagram post, he stated, “Peter Gregory Obi will soon be arrested, Watch Out. The conspiracy is brewing, you want to bet?”
The call for Obi’s arrest allegedly stems from accusations of inciting violence made against him by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council. Bayo Onanuga, a spokesperson for Tinubu, made the accusations following Obi’s loss in the presidential election.
