The Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital, Ibadan, identified as Prof. Otegbayo Jesse, has tested negative for coronavirus, just days after testing positive to the virus.
This new development is coming days after Prof Otegbayo released a statement saying he had tested positive to the virus.
Prof Jesse revealed he had contracted Covid-19 on the 29th of March 2020.
However, a new test result carried out on the professor after eight days of isolation and treatment, has come out negative.
The Head of Public Relations Unit of UCH Ibadan, identified as Mr Toye Akinrinlola, stated that the Chief Medical Director’s last blood sample test returned negative.
