Arsenal get their Premier League season underway as they travel to West London to take on newly-promoted Brentford.
The Gunners were already heading into the game facing a few problems with Gabriel, Eddie Nketiah and Thomas Partey all out injured, but now they head into tonight’s game at the Brentford Community Stadium without forwards Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as well.
The pair’s absence due to illness means that an opportunity could present itself for youngsters Flo Balogun or Gabriel Martinelli to make their case at center-forward.
Mikel Arteta will be hoping to use the game as a chance to put his team’s underwhelming transfer window so far to one side and raise morale around the Emirates Stadium with a victory.
