What Are the UK Scholarship Visa Eligibility Requirements?
The VISA Scholarship committee analyzes a few key priority criteria to establish the validity of your application. Here are the boxes you must check to ensure your eligibility.
- Your first undergraduate degree must begin in 2022-23.
- Your undergrad education should be in a STEM discipline. STEM refers to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. According to windosorfellowship.org, approved STEM courses include:
a. Computer Science
b. Information Science
c. Cybersecurity
d.Engineering
e. Maths
f. Business (HR, Marketing, Finance, Sales)
Note: Dentistry and Veterinary Science and Medicine are excluded
- You must be able to show the relevance of your selected degree to VISA business operations.
- You must have applied to UCAS to study for a full-time 3 or 4 bachelor’s degree at any approved university in the UK for the academic year 2022-23.
- You must be of Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic origin.
- You must be able to work and study in the UK and be qualified for ‘Home Fee’ status.
- You must be able to show a financial need based on a yearly household income of less than £50,000.
- You must be receiving, or have previously received or been qualified for, free school meals, student premium, education upkeep allowance, and/or bursaries for students aged 16 to 19.
